The start of any activity goes through a honeymoon period, where a person goes from having zero knowledge about the topic to rapidly absorbing knowledge like a sponge. This however only lasts for a short while, after a certain point everyone hits a wall on the exponential graph that is language learning. Need to find a way to make the activity less tedious and something a person would want to engage in everyday.
Language Learning is a long term endeavor. This makes it quite daunting for a beginner to even start learning, causing a sort of mental inertia. People often lack the foresight and find it hard to comprehend long-term goals, as they are much further in the future Users would greatly benefit from actual tangible short-term goals to work towards
Languages are inherently social in nature. However there are little to no opportunities for a person to utilize their newfound skills. This lack of social proof is highly detrimental to a person’s Language Learning Journey. There needs to be an avenue for users to show off their progress in a social instance to validate their growth.
